Re: Video hue is messed up

Yeah - the "reinstalled" part made me think he was reinstalling the old version again. =\

Happy New Year to you too. =)

I thought about that too, but read in his post that he'd already
update his drivers : "I tried with directX vid acceleration on and off
no fix reinstalled video drivers (just to be sure..."

However the next line mentioned a rollback, which may have uninstalled
the latest drivers again.

PS Happy new year Zach
Cheers - Neil

With the follow-up to Neil's suggestion that it would be wise to make sure
you're running the latest version of the video card driver from the video
card vendor.

Let me start by saying I am mcp cert and use to work at dell as a gold
tech
so I do know about comp sys both software and hardware. every time i play
any
video using Windows media player it has a greenis blue tint to it. I can
go
to video settings in Enhancements and it shows the hue centered like its
supose to but the hue is still way off. if I move the hue to either the
right
or left all the way it looks pretty much normal but I have to do this
every
time and it seemes to be backwards being the center is supose to be
normal. I
tried dumping all my codecs and uninstalling and re installing all my
media
players that didnt work (all the other media players are working fine Divx
and VLC show a perfict picture I re installed wmp 11.0.6001.7000 2 times
and
no fix. I tried with directX vid acceleration on and off no fix
reinstalled
video drivers (just to be sure, but shouldnt be an issue since other media
players works)no fix restored settings to an earlier date(before issue
started) no fix so what am i missing?? It seemed to happen after an update
but as i said i restored it to before the update.
