Can't hear sound in my videos...

Ok, I've got Windows Media Player 10...something or other, I think it ends in
48, anyhowand I'm using it on Windows XP Pro. Now, I could hear the sound in
my videos before, but then I downloaded FrostWire, and downloaded some videos
from that, and now I can't hear sound in any of my videos.
Nothing I do seems to help, even turning all the sound all the way. Help?!
