So far my system has been entirely DRM-free. I mostly rip my own CD's

In my search for one particularly obscure album, I've found it on an
equally obscure download site that makes no reference to DRM, either for
or against.
So, If I download the album (and at $1.21 I don't have much to lose)
then how can I tell whether or not it contains DRM?
To be honest, I'd rather do without this album if it contains DRM, even
though it is the highest rated album of one of my favourite artists.
Sliq WMSnoop http://www.sliq.com/default.asp?view=wmsnoop is a very
useful WMV analysis tool (just drag the file icon to it to get info)
If you inspect the main page, check the Is_Protected field to
determine if it requires DRM. on playback.
Incidentally, the "Video" tab has a button showing frame-level data
rates and keyframe spacing, which is incfredibly handy if you're doing
content production for distribution over the internet.
