Hi,
Now I did it again. This is my story:
In WMP a chosed an album, went to "Burn" where I chosed "Audio CD". The CD
itself is an ordinary one: TDK CD-R80. In windows explorer the tracks shows
as cda-files. But I did not get the names either of the album or the tracks.
I played it back on another PC and also on a car stereo and it worked fine.
OK, so my understanding is, this is correct behaviour now ;-)
I have not tried to burn as Data CD, so I don't what will happen.
Nevertheless I'm happy so far. Hope I could find the trick how to name the
album and the tracks. Maybe you could help?
Media player does not support the feature you are asking for, which is
called "CD-TEXT" (that's also supported only by a small number of CD
players).
Other software, such as Roxio and Nero CD burning software, and I
think, Real Player 11 - does allow for CD-TEXT, so you might want to
try those programs instead.
