Re: seriously need help with my wmp. PLEASE HELP

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Windows Media Player doesn't natively support MPEG4 (MP4) files, so unless
you installed some other software that would not have worked. =\

hi. i have vista home premium edition genuine, windows media player 11
(both
pre-installed on my computer). i added videos from my old phone and my new
fone, an my girlfriends fone, all in the last three months, and they wer
working perfectly! but now, they are not playing at all anymore. i get
this
message "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might
not
support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to
compress the file." and the code is C00D1199. i have also been getting
a
different error message, (C00D11B1) which i think i have managed to
correct,
as i found some information in this forum that said samsung pc suite was
the
problem, and to uninstall it. after i uninstalled it, and the nokia pc
suite
also, that message stopped apearing when i tried to play a video, but now
i
get this message again. i have no problem playing dvd`s or music or
streaming
videos. i have also tried to play the videos through quicktime, itunes,
divx
and i get the message that the file doesn`t exist. i have put the files
back
onto my phone, and they work fine, most of the videos are mp4`s. i don`t
understand how they can be working 1 week, and not the next. i have
honestly
tried everything, i just can`t seem to get them to work. if anyone could
help
me, it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!! lol thnx
