Re: WMP 11 On Vista Doesn't Save Album Art With Rip

Just to clarify, I on my main Vista machine the problem is as described in
this post and the problem on my main XP machine is described in my post "WMP
11 Ripping Very Slowly".

Returning to this post, the folders being monitored are the Music, Pictures
and Videos folders in both my user account and the publice folder. I have
also manually added monitoring of a music folder on my Windows Home Server.

The rip folder is the Music folder in my user account.

How is not working properly on the machines other than this?

Under WMP's Tools:Options:Library:Monitor Folders menu option, what folders
are listed in that big box there?

The honest answer to your first question is I don't believe there's
anything
else wrong with the library burt I'm not 100% sure as I haven't had chance
to
use WMP as much as I would like becasue it's not working properly on the
main
machines.

I've just tried clearing IE cache then ripped another CD but it still
didn't
save the art.

Many thanks for your suggestion,
Malcolm

Have you tried clearing Internet Explorer's Temporary Files folder using
IE's Tools:Internet Options menu tool?

Thanks for your post Zazh, I've been away on holiday and I've only just
picked your response up.

I have this problem on my main Vista machine and I now also have a
problem
with WMP 11 on my main XP machine (see my post "WMP 11 Ripping Very
Slowly").

Luckily I have another XP PC, a XP laptop and a Vista laptop so
hopefully
WMP will work properly on one of them. It's quite frustrating.

Cheers,
Malcolm

It should do that normally during the rip process - it's really the
same
code there.

Can anyone tell me how to ensure that WMP 11 on Vista Ultimate saves
the
album art with ripped albums, as it does on Windows XP?
