Its going to rollback regardless - there is no true "scorched earth"
uninstall. It'll rollback to WMP9, WMP10, whatever - it's not picky.
Go to uninstall it-
after this point, what are the last 30 lines or so in c:\windows\wmsetup.log
?

I can't uninstall -- a box comes up and says "This may affect other
programs;
are you sure you want to continue?" And the only option is to CANCEL. So
I
can't continue to remove it. It says "Rollback status" or something like
that. I don't even HAVE Windows 10, so the rollback is irrelevant. My
computer won't take 10, and I was advised to download the Service Pack

wouldn't take it, I have 3. Also, was advised to uninstall 11 before
getting
10. Nothing is working :-{
