So it's either helpful or tongue in cheek. Either way, everybody wins. :-)
Lol, it happens to be the converse - The ascenders and descenders
present in mostly lower case text assist in letter recognition.
All caps has been shown to generally reduce comprehension because
there's little context and differentiation between expected letter
shapes in western alphabet capitals.
Of course, any visually impaired readers would be able to use th ewide
range of assistive technologies including screen magnifiers, enhanced
contrast and screen readers, rather than (say) larger letters ;-)
