Hi
I have an MP3 player built into my car that takes an SD Card.
Sadly the player only recognises MP3 format.
I use WMP11 and most of my music has been stored as WMA on a media centre
computer in my apartment.
If I take my laptop down to the car and connect it directly to the MP3
player WMP recognises that it needs to convert the tracks to MP3 format
when
it syncs. But when I just plug the SD card into my laptop or media centre
WMP obviously doesn't know what device it's going to be used in so doesn't
recognise that it needs to convert to MP3 format and just syncs the tracks
in
their current format.
Is there anyway (probably by adding some bit of xml into the WMPInfo file)
I
can force WMP11 to always convert files to MP3 format when writing to the
SD
Card?
Thanks
Kev
WMP is limited to what it can do...perhaps Nero might suit better.
