I am having problems ripping the second music disc from a 2-disc set using

completed"?

I remember it sometimes helped to stick a.n.other CD in the drive and
rip that (or play it, a bit) before putting the second of the box set
in for ripping. WMP used to become confused when multiple disks with
the same title were being ripped, but I thought that was solved in
WMP11 and possibly WMP10
