What are the differences/values?
Are you trying to access Duration before the file is loaded/opened,
perhaps... ?

See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.

Hi,
I have an app that uses WMP to play MP3/WAV audio clips. The app needs to
know the exact length of the clip. But it would appear that using
.Duration reports a different value to what seems to be the actual length.
For example, if I load the clip into Sound Forge I get a different value
than that reported by the Duration property of WMP. Any ideas?
Secondly, is there a way of seeking straight to the end of a clip?
TIA
Martin
