What methods are supported to attach files in this site? Should I put it on
any certain site for your access?

This won't help you guys much but here is the latest reponse from JVC. I
think they have thrown in the towel. I don't think "MPEG4" is specific

After further review the video clip files stored with this camcorder are
compatible with MPEG4 players. Which player to use specifily JVC will not

found a lot of freeware programs that might play back files.

I don't want to install anymore programs to my PC as I might have already
made a mess of it trying to figure this out. But do you think I should

opening the files with the Divx player or wait while you sort out the
codec
needed? I think I have the MP4S codec supported on my PC yet it won't
play.
Could something be corrupted?

on there - it should enable MPEG4 playback of pretty much all types

That's quite a common codec for downloaded AVIs too, so it's generally
useful to have. There's no cost for just the codec part of DivX.

The MP4S code, now I come to look it up, should be DivX 4 (I thought
it was MS MPEG for some reason last night) and DivX6 is backwards
compatible with that.

WMplugins.com doesn't have a download file for 11.0 on it. I
have
installed
several codecs (G.726, etc) and even tried to open them with VLC.

I can hear the sound but no video when I open the file with VLC.

I used AVIcodec which tells me the following information about
the
file.

JVC
hasn't
supplied me with the answer either.
