I'll save you some time: you can't uninstall WMP on Vista.
If it was crackling at about twenty seconds previous to the clip ending it's
the Enhancements issue I identified.

Well i have looked on the Realtek site and it doesn't seem to have
anything
about new drivers that i can find. You must be right in suspecting the
speakers, because i bought some new Logitech speakers today, because
everyone
knows that no Laptop speakers give good bass, and they plug in through the
USB port, i only have 1 headphone jack and it is at the front, and i
tried
the peakers out really good bass on them so i then went onto ripping a new
CD
i got for crissy on my laptop. I still use WMP to rip CD's and to Sync
with
my MP4, because Winamp can't put the music in the right folders, because
the
system was set up in WMP and Winamp can't seem to find the folders. So i
ripped it and was going to sinc it and i accidentally touched the touchpad
and it clicked on a song, i have tap to click on, and to my amazement no
crackling happed it just played as it used to. So it is the Laptop
Speakers
(Realtek) that aren't working properly.
But the strage thing is properties say "This Device is Working Properly",
and it plays sound in every program i have, except WMP. But my new
Logitech
Portable Speakers do.
Very strange.
I am going to try un-installing WMP again.
Unless you already know of a solution to my speaker problems you don't
need
to try to figure one out because I will just use my Logitech speakers when
i
want to play songs in WMP

wasted your time. You must be very busy with all the problems i have seen

Did you check with RealTek or the company that sold you the computer? I
believe there are updates available to that card past what you likely got
when you received the computer, but I believe they aren't on Windows
Update,
just on the vendors site. People seem to follow the ongoing travails of
this card's driver in a couple newsgroups I watch. =\

I have got my microphone working again and there is no problems with it.
I have checked my audio card it says it is working. It's a Realtek High
Definition Audio (With SRS), i checked for updates and none were found.

I have windows media player 11.0.6000.6344
I am using Windows vista 32-bit home premium
Whenever i try to play a local mp3 i got no sound just a
crackling

nothing but if i play something that is stramed off the internet

works
fine, i get no error message just blank nothingness
there is nothing wrong with my sound cards all the sound levels
are
up
full
and none of my mp3s are corrupted because i can play them fine on
Winamp
Plz help was working fine until, i accidentally disabled my
