Unfortunately, with version 11 Windows Media Player no longer supports the
mms protocol. You can try replacing the mms in your URL with http and see if
that works. Otherwise, contact the content provider and ask them if they can
provide http protocol content.

What version of Windows and Windows Media Player?

If you are using Vista, Windows Media Player cannot be removed.

Is there a specific technical issue that is driving your desire to
uninstall? Perhaps there is another solution.
