Cannot run WMP, impossible to repair it

Hello,
A few days ago, when trying to run WMP I got the sad message: "An
internal application error has occurred"
Looking on forums I found some tips to register 2 DLL's (regsvr32
jscript.dll & regsvr32 vbscript.dll) but as it doesn't help , I though
I could remove WMP 11 and going back to previous version 9 or 10.
I've been trying 2 days long to get this working (rollback procedure
from MS),
also retrying WMP 10 setup but receiving errors at end...
It is becoming a real nightmare as no solution works.
Any help and suggestions welcome.
