hi. It only fails with this partiular site. I have contacted their support
and we have tried to work through the options but to no avail, it was then
that their support told me there must be something wrong with my wmp. But as
I mentioned before this site used to work fine until one day it just
stopped. ?? I'm stumped. I am paying for that site and can't access the
content and nobody seems to be able to help. Thanks again for any advice.

Does it fail for a site that doesn't require a subscription to access?
Or is there some sample clip there that fails for you - and doesn't require
a subscription to access?

I've looked around there to find a solution but I'm afraid it's a little
above my computer capabilities :(

If you click on the Web Help for that Error, what URL does it take you
to?

error
message saying "WMP cannot play the file. The player might not
support the
file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress

What changed around the time that it broke?
