a) you may not ship wmp.dll by itself
b) doing that would horribly break systems
This is a horrendous idea so far. Please look up "redistributing windows
media player" on MSDN , which should answer your questions as regards how to
redistribute Windows Media Player if needed.
Please do not ship WMP.dll by itself. That is a horrendous idea, and I'm
still cleaning up crashed user systems from the last company that was
egregiously irresponsible enough to try something like that.

I need to isolate the WMP11 plugin for the browser (ie7) and install this
on
several machines. I beleive the dll is wmp.dll and this exists for all
workstations on our network. I think I just need the relavent registry
keys
and subkeys to implement in a script. i would like to globally enable
this
for all users. Does anyone have the keys that are relavent to this
request?
