Hi there,
I want to create an auto play list that will find only my long playing
(album) tracks for me.
This should include only those tracks having a length greater than 40 minutes.
When I look at auto playlist criteria, I can only see one option for length
in seconds. I cannot specify my own value to compare against (it's a combo
with only a few fixed values), hence I cannot specify (40*60), nor is there
seemingly any way of being able to filter by length in minutes.
How can I achieve my objective? Is this possible at all right now?
It should be manually editable (though it may not work properly !)
I found it listed the correct tracks when I tried this.
Find the playlist in media player, and click it to show tracks
currently matching - for example, 360 seconds.
Right-click the existing playlist title in the left hand panel, and
choose "Open File Location". Also open Notepad.
Find the playlist in the opened folder, and drag the icon into
Notepad. Find the lines with the following text :
<fragment name="Playback Duration">
<argument name="condition">Is Greater Than</argument>
<argument name="value">360</argument>
</fragment>
Change the third line there to read 2400 instead of (eg) 360 as it's
set currently. Go to File -> Save in notepad.
Go back to media player, click the playlist, and see if the track list
now shows durations over 40 minutes in the Length column.
HTH
