B: You can't install the XP player on Vista - that message is accurate. =)
A: Can you right-click on the content and use another option other than
Play? Are other file types not working within the shell? When WMP doesn't
respond, is "wmplayer.exe" listed in the Processes tab of Explorer?

Hi, I am using Windows Vista Business Edition. My computer has intel core2
duo, 2GB of RAm, and 120 GB of Hard drive. I did not had this problem
earlier
but i don't know how nowadays i am facing this problem which is really
annoying. My problem is when i double click any songs it does not open
windows media player and play. (fyi..WMP 11 is my default player). Also if
i
open a folder containing only songs and if i press "Play All" tab at the
tool
bar..it still does not open Windows media player and play. However, if my
WMP11 is open and do one of those things it does play properly. I tried to
download wmp11 for vista and install, but everytime when i tried i got an
error message saying " i already have new version of WMP11 installed than
i
am trying to install in my laptop". So could you guys please help me what
should i have to do so that i can play my music on double click or by
pressing "Play All" tab.
Thanks in advance.
