How to reset codecs used by WMP?
Ever since I installed and uninstalled some freeware codecs, windows media
player has become semi broken. Now when it plays a wav file it would give an
error message:
Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For
additional assistance,
Click Web Help.
How do I check which dll is handling wave file playback, and how do I set it
back to the default one? I have already uninstalled and re-installed WMP. It
doesn't help.
