If the MP3 player appears in windows explorer as a "removable disk",
then you should be able to use Sunctoy to keep the files in sync :
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/prophoto/synctoy.mspx
You might also want to try RealPlayer for sync (at the risk of making
things worse, well they already got worse) since it seems to suppport
a lot of older and odder devices :

Neil, We bought the Siren MP3 player a long time ago and loaded it on our------------------------------------------------
computer. It worked great. Since then we have also purchased an RCA MP3
player and most recently an IPOD. It seems that after we loaded I tunes onto
our computer we no longer can use the Siren program and can't load songs on
the Siren MP3. We are now trying to load more things on the Siren and can't
and that is why we tried to use the Siren Easy Start CD to reload the program
and reload songs on the MP3. We are stuck now because we get the original
message when we try to use the Siren program and it won't let us start the
program or load songs on the MP3 because it says we have to new a media
player program. Does that help at all? Is there any suggestions on how to
use the MP3 program to get songs on the Siren MP3 player? Thanks again

Yes, you'll have to go the CD route. You never mentioned iPod before
now, your question was about "Siren easy start", whatever that is ;-)

are in the ipod format currently. Would burning them on a cd then putting
them into the media player work or is there an easier way to transfer them.

It may actualy work without the CD. Try starting media player first.
Then click on the "Sync" tab in media player, which will probably show
no devices detected. Next, plug the MP3 player into the USB socket.
Watch media player closely, and see if there's any actvity in the
right hand panel - specifically, if your device shows up as "Siren" or
some other generic device name. Try to sync a couple of files if it
shows up, then play them on the MP3 player to see if they converted OK
