Hi,

I wanted to let you know that I haven't abandoned you, I'm confering with
some people to try and figure out how to get some information in a manner
that will be easiest for you to perform. Part of that is getting permission
to do this. Sorry for the delay.

Even the new one that you got in exchange doesn't work with WMP 11?

I've sent them multiple e-mails about it. They haven't been able to help me
yet.
I traded it in for a new one, reformatted, and re-re-updated the firmware.
The problem escapes me.

If the problem started after updating the firmware to the latest, I would
suggest contacting Creative customer support. They may have information
about this that we are not aware of. Or maybe your Zen needs to be
reformatted/re-initialized.

I have a Zen Vision:M 30gb with firmware 1.61.01 (the latest) and it works
like a champ. Maybe the firmware update didn't work correctly, have you
tried re-flashing your firmware just as a check?

My firmware is up-to-date. In fact, it was after i updated the firmware a
while ago that i started having problems with it.
thanks anyways

Have you visited the Zen site to see if there are any updates to the Zen
firmware?

Since you had problems with other software, it's likely the firmware rather
than the software.

This is for the Zen VisionM 30GB:

This is for the Zen VisionM 60GB:

I've had trouble tranferring files to my Zen in other software, so i
downloaded WMP 11 and tried that. Not gettin so lucky. It's recognized on
my computer, but not under WMP 11. I even tried uninstalling the device and
reconnecting it and it stil won't show up. Does anyone know how to fix this?
