Song ratings don't transfer between computers

Hi,

My problem is exactly like the title says: even though "Maintain my
ratings as global whatever in my files" is checked in WMP 11 on both
of my computers, when I transfer a rated song from one computer to the
other, the rating seems to disappear.

Any advice?
