I am running Vista Ultimate and could previously playback DVD files (VOB) in
Media Player.I recently installed the Vista codec pack and now cannot play
back DVD file (but can still play back DVDs). I guess it's the codec pack
which is the problem, I've tried uninstalling it, but still have the same
problem.
Is there some way to clean install Media Player for Vista or to uninstall
and reinstall it ?
Re: WMP 11 on vista wont shut down ... I haven't seen bad reports yet even for such a garbage Os as Vista.... I have ffdshow and K-Lite full codec Pack mainly for Classic Media Player. ... I don't use WMP - it is hopeless bag of bugs and it does not play probably ... it is an old WMP bug.... (microsoft.public.multimedia.windows.mediaplayer)
