Okay, i suck at explaining situations but ill do my best :)
Okay so i was trying to rip a couple of CD's to my computer using Windows
media player but it came up with this error message:
Windows media player cannot rip one or more tracks from this CD
So i clicked 'Web Help' and it said there was no information available.....
oh and here is the basic information thingy that it said i should post when
asking for help.
Windows media player version - 11.0.5721.5145
Windoes Operating System version - Microsoft windows XP home edition version
2002 service pack 2
Also i dont know if this would matter but the CD's are from 1990 and 1994 so
it might be too old to go on the system maybey? or maybey Bad Religion's pure
awsomeness is just too much for my computer to handle :P
Perhaps the CD surface is damaged in some areas - visual inspection
can help to see scratches etc. You might want to let it have a go with
error correction turned on, though that slows down the rip progress a
great deal.
To do that, go to one of the small menus under the Rip tab, choose
More Options, click the Devices tab, then your CD recorder.
Now choose Properties, and where it says Rip, make sure Digital is
selected and the 'Use error correction' is also selected.
It's best to turn that back off after you've ripped the disk, because
it slows down ripping perfectly workable CDs too.
