Open up the install package for v10 in WinZIP, extract out the setup_wm.exe
..
Then copy that by hand to the c:\program files\windows media player
directory... does it stick? If so, you should have the right version now.

Sorry it took me so long to reply.
I do have Win Zip.
What do I do next? :)

That's not a file you would care about - that just makes setup_wm.exe run
faster.
Do you have WinZIP or other ZIP utility? There's two ways to walk
forward
with obtaining the 3802 setup_wm.exe given that you can't find it in your
temp directories - if you have a ZIP utility, it'll be slightly slightly
easier.
