Re: Back again

The link you gave for the official help isn't an official help site. It's a
link to some guy's personal page. I have tried ALL the official sources for
help. It's simply not there. This is my last resort, and seeing how even here
my messages were getting ignored please forgive me if I am a bit frustrated
with the situation.

As for your other questions, as I said, the video (any video) will play just
fine if I download it instead of trying to stream it. As for the error I am
given, I posted it just like it is put on my screen. If I click on the Web
Help button I am directed to a microsoft page
"http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/webhelp/default.aspx?&mpver=11.0.5721.5145&id=C00D1197&contextid=90&originalid=800C0005";
where it says I have encountered error code C00D1197. I have followed every
instruction on that page (which I stated in my earlier message) with no
result.

As I stated, I have a valid internet connection. I can download the video if
I right click on it. I just can't stream it. I don't understand why windows
can see the file to download it, but WMP can't see the file to stream it. It
doesn't make sense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you see in your browser when you click Web Help for that error?

A while back I posted for help with WMP 11. I didn't get an answer, so I
will
try again.

When I try to stream a video from the net, any type of video, I get an
error
message, "Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to
play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point
to
a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.".

I can right-click on the link of the video I am trying to stream, select
"save file to", download the file, and run it just fine in WMP when it's
on
my harddrive, but I cannot stream the video.

I have tried all the suggestions, from uninstalling WMP 11 and
reinstalling,
to making sure the "Connect to the Internet" box is checked and that all
the
boxed are checked under streaming protocols. And concidering that I am now
connected to the internet to post this message, I don't understand how WMP
11
can be saying that I am not connected to the internet.

I would really appreciate some sort of answer this time. It's really
frustrating to post here and then have my message ignored. Twice. This
will
actually be my 3rd time trying to get help with this. And it's not like
months haven't gone by since my previous message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
