Paul,
A little searching brought me to a post about the same error happening on
some files but not all.
It's suggested that it may be a DRM component issue, so please try this
link
first:
http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp
Let us know if this resolves the issue.

Can anyone help/advise?
I'm using XP Home SP2 and WMP11. I can play DivX coded avi files without
a
problem, but I have an avi file that uses the XviD codec and WMP11 will
not
play it. I have the XviD codec installed and the file will play in the
DivX
player but WMP11 gives an error code COOD11B1, something to do with the
sound card which is working perfectly. I have an XviD avi file without
sound
that plays fine in WMP11. Can anyone help please?
