I did click on allow when the yellow bar came up originally. The yellow bar
did not come up again on any of the successive attempts or after downloading
Vongo again.
Prompt was already checked, but I changed it, closed, reopened IE and
changed it back again. That didn't work either.
I'll try going to the MSFT address you recommended.
Thanks for the assist!

Actually this isn't Microsoft Support as indicated in the error message..
That's a dedicated group of people who's responsibility is to "Get the
problem fixed".
This is a newsgroup where people like me, who are MS employees and work on
these features, other WMP users, and some very dedicated MVPs, participate to
provide some form of help, but ultimately we are not the PSS people.
One last thing I can ask: When you go to this page, do you see a yellow bar
across the top of the page asking to install a component from Microsoft? Did
you see one before and decline the control?
If you did, you need to allow the component to install for this to work right.
This is in the IE settings: Click the Security tab, select the Internet
zone and then click the "Custom level..." button.
Scroll down to the "Download signed ActiveX controls", and change that
setting to "
"Prompt", then click OK on the various dialogs until you're all closed out
of the IE Options.
Then try again. If that doesn't work you need to contact Microsoft Product
Support people, who can be reached here:

I have XP Home edition with all critical updates. I have it set to automatic
updates, so I don't miss anything important. Any other tips?

Any number of possible suggestions, but I need more information from you.
What OS version are you running? Vista? If so, which version? XP? Does
it have all the updates? Is it a Media Center version? If it's Media
Center, do you have the October Roll-up installed?

Mike,
Thanks for the quick reply. I followed your suggestion, but unfortunately
it didn't work. same problem as before. Unexpected error. Try download
again later.
I also tried streaming TV, but that aborts and gives a similar error message
- unexpected error.
Any other suggestions?

Chuck,
Try visiting this website directly:
http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp
This should update your DRM component which includes individualization of
your system.

I have been trying to download movies from Vongo.com and thus far have not
been successful. I have followed all the steps suggested by Vongo Customer
Service, however, the following script error appears when following their
instructions on how to individualize Windows Media Player. I have tried
clicking on NO and on YES at different times but nothing happens either way.
Since the error line indicates that I should contact Microsoft product
support, I am doing that now. Can you help????
