your explanation.. what is it that is solely compatible with wmp8? is it
windows meida player 10? is it windows xp operating system?

If you get the error message that says "the media library management wizard
works with windows media player windows media player for windows xp only",
that means that that is solely compatible with WMP8.
The options I know of are at--

The Winter Fun Pack is a pretty much abandoned Power Toy, which are
inherently unsupported. I believe that there will never be any further
updates to that package, sorry.

im not getting the big picture.. between my windows xp, w.m.p. 10 and and
media player for windows xp, which are not compatible with the rest? does
anybody have a suggestion for putting my w.m.p. audio library & playlists
into a format for printing? the media exporter adds extra columns which
cannot be modified; that wastes paper--i do not have excel on my pc.. i
cant
afford to buy that software.. i need a solution where i can get the
software
(and other components) for free or next to nothing.. can i write to the
owners of the winter fun pack? can i ask someone why the media exporter
does
not allow exclusion of columns i dont need and wastes paper? the media
exporter was modified to include columns which i dont specify in my media
library.. i cannot delete the columns--why was it designed this way? a
library that took 7 pages to print a directory for 400 audio tracks now
takes
40 pages-- 6 X more than is necessary.. whats the purpose?

It specifically means "Media Player for Windows XP", which is known as
WMP8.
It is utterly not compatible with any other version of the player, sorry.
This should be mentioned in the release notes for that package.
