No sound when playing DVD's everything elso OK

I always use Ulead's DVD player to play DVDs, but for some reason I
started WMP 10 this morning to play one. I didn't get any sound
although it played fine on Ulead. I upgraded to WMP 11 but same
problem. Sound is ok on all other formats (MP3, WMA, commercial CDs,
etc). I have tried several DVDs but none of them play the audio track.
Any place I can look for a setting I'm missing.
