WMP 11 Now Playing List

I just "upgraded" from WMP 10 to WMP 11, and am finding some annoyances in the now playing mode. There are two main issues.

1. I can't work out how to get rid of the album art/rating section from the top of the list. See the image at this url:

2. It doesn't show the playing time of the playlist

Any idea how to fix these things?
