Until recently I have been able to play .wav files that were g.711
encoded. For some reason I am now receiving a message which states:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs
required to play the file could not be found.
I have reinstalled the standard codecs which come with Windows (via
Add Hardware wizard) and this has not helped. I also installed the
latest version of Windows Media Player, version 11. Does anyone have
any suggestions? Thanks!
