Re: WMP Taking Over!!!!

Phill: If you uninstall through Add/Remove in the Control Panel in Windows XP, you will get WMP10 back by default. I also have WMP10 installation pgm on hand if I need it for repairs, or if the installed version goes belly-up for some unknown reason.

I understand that if you have Vista, you are SOL, and are STUCK with WMP11 forever and ever, amen.

Doug,

I was thinking of doing this very thing. If I remove WMP11 using the
add/remove programs folder will I be able to download WMP10 from thE net or
will I be forced to re-instALL wmp11?

Why do you guys keep on fighting WMP11? It is not user friendly.
All that I can figure is that you must be brutes for punishment.
Just uninstall the BEAST and the WMP11 runtime as well and
revert to WMP10. WMP10 works reasonably well, at least for most
of the users that I know of.
