I suspect that some third party stomped on your registry - fixing
LowrateSample would fix you up.

Well done and thanks, I have spent the past couple of hours searching
Microsoft from some help with this and have just come across your comment.
I
would have never tried that. Thanks again

I fixed it. I just changed the audio quality in the rip options menu from
128
to 192kbps. So if any one else has the same problem that is the solution.
Cheers for the help.

you may need an MP3 codec on your machine and you will also have to
install
it on the plugins page inside WMP.
google can help you with this, but i advise you virus scan everything
before
instaling it.

Hello all, just downloaded media player 11 ( version 11.0.5721.5145)
and
tried to rip music from a cd to a mp3 format. I got a error message
saying
windows media player cannot rip 1 or more tracks from this cd. The
error code
was C00D10D2. Please note I can rip to other formats. Thanks in
advance and a
merry christmas to all.
