Sort of like saying, I bought a CD a few years ago. Then, today I decided to get back into music and when I got in my truck, I couldn't play the CD - not because it's defective but because it's not here! I don't have time to think about what car I was driving when I bought it or even if I've traded that car in or not. All I know is CDs are a scam because I bought one once and now I can't play it and no, I don't want to even take the trouble to look for it to play it.

I don't think MP3s can have usage rights applied to them - so I've no
explanation for where these files have "gone". Did you search your
disk for these missing MP3 files, before declaring a scam ?

I just got myself and MP3 player for Christmas, getting back into
music, and finding that all the mp3's I've purchased over the past few
years are gone.
What a scam. Making people pay for something that they can only manage
to hang onto as long as they use the same computer....
I really don't have time to think about what computer I was using when
I bought the mp3's, or whatever BS I need to know in order to just
listen to a damn song I bought.
Might as well use allofmp3.com or p2p to download songs. At least then
you know the file is no going to cause problems. It's almost worth the
risk of copyright infringement to avoid the massive inconvenience of
the totally inept system the industry created.

missing usage rights".
Anyone help pleae?
Thanks.
