Re: How to stop WMP11 automatically playing CDs?

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

In Windows Explorer, right click on your CD drive and choose Properties. In the properties, select the AutoPlay tab. In the drop down list at the top, choose Music CD and in the Actions area below, choose the Select an action to perform button and then click on Take No Action. Click OK and you should be done.

How can I stop WMP11 automatically starting to play CDs when they are
inserted? Help states that typically the Cd starts playing and explains how
to start it if it doesn't but it doesn't seem to explain how to turn off the
default play mode. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
