Beta 1 or Beta 2? In your c:\windows\wmsetup.log should be several
references to wmdbexport.exe - what are those lines? They may contain
slightly more data.
You could reset your v11 *RTM* library--

, I believe reset the "MigratedXML" registry (should be located under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences ) to 0, and
then rerun either wmdbexport.exe or reinstall WMP11. If it was really
possible for WMP to do anything with the library, that should likely work.
It's possible your old library may have been corrupt, though, which would
render it non-migratable. =\

WMP 11 Beta initialized an automatic upgrade to WMP 11 today. I went ahead
with it. However, it wiped out all the custom tags I had stored, all my

art, the play counts, and everything else. Is there any way to restore
this
