How do I make Windows Media Player my default player.
I have files of videos and many times Real player opens the videos. I only
want them opened with Media Player.
I can only have about 5 videos opened with Media Player and then Real Player
kicks in. After a while I get back to Media Player.
Windows media player can't play real player files - so if your 5th
file is a real player file then yes, Real player will kick in.
If you close real player, then went to media player's menu, and pick
Tools -> Options -> File Types
Click the 'choose all' box, then restart media player. That should
associate media player with as many file types as it knows how to play
by deafult.
