Re: WMP 11, burn CD

No I am not using Roxio. I do have it installed. I made sure it's closed
down. Problem still occurs. If anyone has a fix- please post.

Are you using Roxio? Does turning off drag-to-disk fix you up?

I am another person with the same problem. Any fixes yet? Please post if
anyone knows. Very frustrating.

Would you be kind enough to post the response you get from them? I
really
like the new media player but have the identical problem. Everything
worked
fine in WMP 10 even with Roxio Drag-to-disk running. Have tried
everything
other than uninstalling my Pinnacle Studio. All the music on my
computer is
ripped from CD's I own. No DRM music on my computer. I'll put in a
good
word with Santa for anyone who comes up with an answer to this problem.

I stumped Microsoft's technical support today with this problem.
They are
escalating it. Email me at jseville@xxxxxxxxxxxx next Tuesday and I
will let
you know what I find out. - John

Hi John, sorry to say no progress. I was directed to a web site
but, the
usual, check firmware and etc. Maybe someone will come back with a
cure.

Greetings,
Installed WMP 11 and all works well except; When I clicked
Burn, compiled a
burn list, inserted a new CD in drive, click burn I get a
message box saying
insert blank CD in drive and as soon as WMP 11 recognises disc
burn will
start. I have a new blank in drive.
I have two burn drives and WMP recognises both of them. Any
suggestions
will be appreciated.
