[NOTE: In all cases, we're just working around bugs in your audio card
driver. WMP uses a more advanced API than most other players use, which is
why often WMP will be the only player to suffer from the sound card
bugginess.] With WMP9 and newer, you may also need to be sure you have the
right audio device selected under WMP's Tools:Options:Devices:Speakers menu
dialog. This should be set up correctly by default, but in some rare cases
your sound system may not work correctly unless you change this setting.
