The AutoUpdate stuff isn't live yet, as noted. Typically those
notifications get turned on some relatively short period after release.
WMP11 just came out Monday. =)

I fixed it, and MS may want to take note of this as I see it as an issue. I
was using Beta 2, and kept checking for updates after 11 Final was
released.
However, WMP kept saying it was up-to-date. I installed the Final over the
beta, and the "media sharing" item showed up. I have not tried it with my
360
yet, but regardless, the beta versions should be getting *some* kind of
update to get them to Final code.

What text/UI do you have there? If you're using WMP11, that dialog is
grouped into the sections Sharing, Update library, and Automatic media
information.

I downloaded WMP 11 to share stuff with my Xbox 360. I read the

supposed to check the "Share my media" box, under the "library"
