If you reinstall WMP11, do you get this error again? It's simple to fix if
you do - let me know if you hit it again.

Hey guys,
I really hope you'll help me on this. I am the administrator
and only user of my computer. I've never messed up the user accounts or
passwords and stuff and when I install the WMP11, after the computer
reboots
and I try to run WMP11 i get the following message:
''To finish installing Windows Media player, restart your computer and
then
log on as an administrator or a member of the administrators group.''
as a result, the media player does not even run and the whole process
stops
there by selecting the only button available in the message that is OK! I
am
the administrator and even when I restart the same problem appers again!
Moreover, I have Windows XP SP2 Media centre and after uninstalling the
problematic beta 2 and returned back to WMP10, I get often a lot of
problems
and the whole system halts informing me about errors in the media player
software both running at a media centre environment and also just by
running
WMP10!
Please I'd really like your help on this cause I've run out of possible
options for fixing it!
Thanks
Tony
