Did you run Crap Cleaner ("CCleaner") on this system? Older versions of
that would destroy WMP's back-up folders, breaking rollback/uninstall. If
you have that tool, make sure you update to the newest version, which fixes
that.
If you did this to WMP, your only respites are:
* System Restore
* Contact actual technical support--

is one starting point -- since they have a limited ability to kind of coax
you back to WMP9/10. It's not nearly as effective, but it can work.

I want to uninstall Media Player 11 Beta 2 but get a message that cannot be
uninstalled due to missing folders. I already reinstalled and did not fix
issues.
