Hi Paul,
A lot of people are experiencing the same problem you are.
I, too, also had to switch to RealPlayer on the BBC World Service site
(normally I use WMP) because WMP all of the sudden, somewhere between
Wednesday and Thursday, decided not to work. I think, for the time
being, all we can do it hope that Microsoft does something about it as
it looks, at least to me, like the cause of this problem is its media
player.

Both machines are connected to the same router & ISP, both run same firewall
(McAfee) and everything I can see that is obvious appears to be the same.
Realplayer is also loaded purely because it is required to play streaming
audio from the BBC website.
Can anyone suggest what I might need to look at to resolve this problem
please.
