Hi zachd,
Many thanks for your input.
I have just managed to resolve the problem I've encountered. Its apparently
some compatibilitiy issue with the USB hub I am using. I have used the hub
for a thumb drive, an external hard disc, my all-in-one printer, and webcam
without problems. After much frustration, it suddenly occured to me to try to
connect my Creative MuVo V200 directly to my PC USB port and sync-ing was no
problem. WMP11 seems to be working fine for now.
On your first point that this is a peer supported forum, notwithstanding
that apparent fact, since this is a Microsoft community newsgroup and forum,
perhaps a MS expert should participate to try help problems encountered by
Microsoft products users. This is only but a small extension of the customer
service by a software giant to help its customers around the myriad of
problems in respect of the complexities of PC and software problems.
Anyway, thanks again. Cheers.

I don't believe anyone from MS on the sync team are tracking this newsgroup.
For official support, contact actual technical support-

I'm off in WMP11 land, and haven't been closely involved with sync so
wouldn't have any particularly useful input.

Hi, I am one of the many in this group that is experiencing sync problems.
There seems to be no helpful solutions here. Perhaps someone from
Microsoft
should address these issues.
I use a Creative Muvo V200 MP3 player and wmp10. Didnt have any problems
previously in sync-ing wma files to the player until now.
I have followed some guides in the Help section, like, deleting the
affected
wma files and re-ripping from the CD to ensure valid drm. However, this
didn't work.
Any other suggestions?
One potential problem though, as I found out, is that media files in
devices
which have been deleted may not be sync in again due to licensing issues.
If
its true, I was not aware of it though I have followed user's instructions
of
both the MP3 player and wmp10. If I have deleted those media files which I
am
trying to re-sync to the device, how can I now overcome this problem of
not
being able to re-sync?
Please advise. Thank you.
