In the file c:\windows\wmsetup.log , what lines contain "ERROR:"? That
should have information about your uninstall failure.

I am running XP Home SP2 with all the current updates. 1Gb of Ram
I tried to install WMP11 it said it failed. So I downloaded it again and
tried a second time. Install said it failed again. But it opened up. I
like
the interface. I went to sync a Sans 2GB mp3 player it locked up had to
use
the reset button on my computer to shut it down. So I followed the
direction
on the website to remove and reinstall it a third time. Still Said it
failed
the install but it was still there. Tried to sync the Sans 2Gb mp3 player,
again it locked again. I also have an IRiver H10 so I guess that won't
work
either. At this point my USB ports are not working. My UPS USB port is not
working. It won't detect MP3 players. I had to go into Safemode to remove
the
USB ports and reinstall and remove WMP11 and reinstall WMP10 twice to get
rid
of Urge. So I gave it a shot. But I guess will wait for WMP12...
