Nah, /fullscreen stopped being supported after v6.
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#fullscreen
has a skin you can use to pop into fullscreen every launch, though. =\

Neil,
Sorry for hijacking the thread but I was hoping to get this working too.
Should this work in WMP11? I followed the instructions but it didn't work.
It
does open WMPlayer 11 and show the movie, but not in full screen, even
though
I added /fullscreen to the shortcut.
If it did work, would it stay full screen if I stopped and started the
movie
within WMP?
What I really want to do is force WMP11 to show full screen every time a
movie plays. I will be playing the same movie over and over but don't want
to
have to hit play and also full screen to play it on the projector. Mainly
because the remote control I have bought doesn't have a control for full
screen, only play and stop.
Thanks, Neil.
By the way, is there a way to roll back to WMP10 if this is the problem
with
/fullscreen not working?

Is there a switch that will cause Windows Media Player to start up in

Yes, as specified on MSDN (add the switch to a copy of the WMP
shortcut on your desktop, not to the *original* WMP shortcut)
