Re: Add Streaming Media to Playlist WITHOUT Clearing Playlist

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I don't think you can do that because it's coming in via a unique code path
(progressive download) that doesn't directly support or even know about
queueing. If you downloaded the file to disk, you could then drop it into
the playlist, but I don't believe there would be a direct solution here.

Hello,

Does anyone know how to change the default behavior of Windows Media
Player
10 so that when I am surfing the net and click on a streaming media link
it
doesn't clear the existing play list?

In other words, I want the link I just clicked to be queued as the next
item
to be played (if there was only one item in the list) or appended to the
bottom of the existing play list? For example, if I have 10 tracks in my
current play list and I click a link on a web site to hear an audio clip,
I
want the audio clip link to be appended as the eleventh track in my
current
play list. Currently, when I click on the audio clip link, my play list
is
cleared and the just clicked link is played immediately.

Shawn
