Also note that a playlists-install only failure *should* trigger unique
"playlist install" failure detection code in the player installer. This may
have been added post-beta(?), but this is a known externally induced failure
state that's definitely not critical.
The next version should have significantly better error handling - thanks
for your feedback here, and I'm sorry about your current pains. =\
